Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. For pilot programs, eligibility is limited to authorized participants, with consent forms outlining data handling.
Services
TeacherEd provides AI-driven parent-teacher simulation tools, licensed on a non-exclusive, revocable basis. We may modify or discontinue Services with notice. AI features promote ethical use, bias mitigation, and transparency in decision-making.
Accounts
Register with accurate information; institutions may provision accounts. Safeguard credentials; notify of unauthorized access. Pilot accounts are temporary.
Data Use and Privacy
We collect minimal data for Services, with explicit consent for sensitive uses like recordings. Security includes encryption and audits; rights include withdrawal and objection.
User Responsibilities
Use for educational purposes only; no misuse, harmful content, or reverse engineering. Report AI biases or issues; comply with institutional codes and AI guidelines.
Intellectual Property
We retain rights in Services; you retain inputs but grant license for processing and research (anonymized). Pilot outputs may have joint rights under agreements.
Payment
Fees payable in advance, non-refundable except as required. Changes with 30 days' notice.
Suspension and Termination
For violations or security; data returned/deleted per policy. Request export pre-termination.
Liability and Disclaimers
Services "as is"; liability limited to fees paid (12 months) or USD 1,000, except gross negligence or data breaches. No liability for AI inaccuracies; indemnify for misuse. Does not limit non-excludable rights.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Governed by Hong Kong SAR laws; disputes in Hong Kong courts, unless agreed otherwise. Support alternative resolution for privacy issues.
Changes to Terms
Updates with 30 days' notice; continued use accepts.
